Methven Heliskiing’s helipad is located at Glenfalloch Station, a high country farm only 1.5 hours from Christchurch. Heliski guests can commute from Methven - or stay and take advantage of boutique on-farm accommodation.

Glenfalloch Helipad - one hour from Methven

Driving from Methven to the helipad takes approximately one hour. The scenic route follows the Rakaia River, along unsealed farm roads.

At Glenfalloch your guide runs a pre-flight safety briefing before starting the heliski day. Your delicious heliski lunch is prepared in the farm kitchen using local produce.

 

Accommodation at Glenfalloch

Glenfalloch's accommodation features 2 large houses and a single bedroom cottage - all extensively renovated with commanding views of the Arrowsmiths. They are ideal for a quiet couple's getaway, family, or group of friends. Glenfalloch also caters for corporate incentive groups.

Hosts Charles and Dietlind Todhunter can organise hikes, fishing, and other activities for guests who do not want to heliski.

Driving Directions to Glenfalloch

Turn off Highway 77 to Blackford Road, on to Double Hill Run Rd (both unsealed).

Your guides provide daily transport to Glenfalloch. If you want to self-drive we recommend a rugged vehicle (all wheel drive, or 4WD).
