If you want a heliski experience truly off the beaten track, Lake Heron Station offers guest accommodation in two beautifully restored station cottages.

Lake Heron Station is home to Methven Heliski's chief pilot, Philip Todhunter and on heliski days he'll be out flying heliski groups onto the "back paddocks" of the station. Heliski guests staying on the station, simply hop into the helicopter with Philip as he heads off at the start of the day's flying.
